Francis Fox was appointed President, Eastern Canada for Rogers AT&T Wireless in 1997.By this appointment and his

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Fox was in 1991 actively involved with the company for six years as Chairman of the Board.

In his current capacity, Mr. Fox is responsible for all operations and distribution in the Eastern Canada region. He is also Chairman of Rogers Telecommunications Quebec Inc.

A graduate of University of Montreal Law School (LL.L, D.E.S.), Harvard Law School (LL.M.) and Oxford University (M.A., Rhodes Scholar), Francis Fox has worked in both the private and public sectors. During his 12-year political career at the federal level, he held the portfolios of Solicitor General, Minister of Communications and Minister of International Trade. Between 1985 and 1997, he practised law with Martineau Walker in Montreal focusing on issues of concern to the communications industry.

Francis Fox is active in community related activities. He is Chairman of the Board of Montreal International, a joint private-government, non-profit organization whose mandate is to promote Greater Montreal as a place of choice for investments. He also serves as Associate Governor of the University of Montreal.

Mr. Fox is based at the Rogers AT&T Wireless headquarters in Montreal, Quebec.
