Telecom was the first to deploy international Skypaging, email to paging services, GPS tracking, trunked radio, GSM cellular (now under the AT&T Wireless). The Company focuses on the core radio, paging, wireless data products and undertakes bespoke projects such as the new Motorola Marine VHF system designed to make the local maritime environment a safer place.
Current product developments include new concepts for GPS navigation and tracking working with Deluo, point to point wireless data with Proxim equipment, and an exciting new Point of Sale application that will reduce store swipe card processing time to a few seconds. We are also introducing Talkabout radios for low cost personal communications.

5 November 2003 - Telecom comes through Fabian with Flying colours
While the roof came off our Admin building at Shelly Bay we are proud to announce that all our major infrastructure stayed up and in 100% service throughout the hurricane. Telecom radio and paging service not only provides the most cost effective communication but also delivers the highest reliability. Many of our customers include the key communications carriers and they used our service extensively during and after the storm.

7 November 2002 - Telecom Sells GSM Business to AT&T Wireless.
(HAMILTON, BERMUDA) - AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE) today
announced its entrance into Bermuda through the acquisition of 60% of the shares
of Telecom Bermuda's GSM (Global Standard for Mobile Communications) business.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
"Our investment in Telecom Bermuda's GSM business goes to our strategy of
expanding the AT&T Wireless next-generation network to locations where our
customers work, live, and play," said Stephanie Bariault, Vice President and
General Manager for AT&T Wireless Caribbean Services. "Bermuda is a hub for
financial and insurance services and attracts a substantial number of business
visitors from the U.S., Canada, and Europe who require advanced wireless
services. Telecom Bermuda was the first operator in Bermuda to launch a GSM
system, perfectly complementing AT&T Wireless' new next-generation network
in the United States."
AT&T Wireless is one of the largest providers of wireless voice and data
services in North America, currently serving in excess of 20 million customers
in the United States. The company has recently concluded construction of a GSM/GPRS network across the United States with the launch of New York City in
October 2002.
Through its investment in Canadian operator Rogers AT&T
Wireless, AT&T Wireless operates the largest consolidated GSM/GPRS network
in the western hemisphere.

The company has started immediate work to enhance voice capacity and quality
in Bermuda. In 2003, an upgrade to the network will bring GPRS data services to
Telecom Bermuda's customers as well as visitors. AT&T Wireless expects to
launch these new services in Bermuda in the coming months. More information and
announcements will be made as appropriate.
