R. Fraser Elliott is Senior Partner of Stikeman Elliott LLP. As one of Canada's greatest supporters of the arts, he is past President of the Art Gallery of Ontario, past Chairman of the Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board, and was a member of the Economic Council of Canada. He served on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Symphony and serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 1980.

In recognition of his generous donation, the keyboard studios in the Performance and Learning Centre will be named the R. Fraser Elliott Centre for Keyboard Studies.
