August 1977 to sep. 1978 =13 month

September 1978: France Telecom announces plans for fiber to the home demonstration in Biarritz, connecting 1500 homes in early 1983.

What is funny of this, it's the fiber optic exist since the Roman Times the  Glass is drawn into fibers, but  identified as something in relation with the knew technology development,  when it's just a new useful specific network.  To do some light and understood it's, I just referred you to "The Story of Fiber Optics"

December 1978= The chart end of the experimentation Test Model

August 1977 to dec. 1978 =16 month

In 1984 Canadian Communication ministry announces the had develop in (no month determinate ??) 1978 TÉLIDON

and in (??? no month) 1978 —Telesat's Anik B satellite, a three-axis stabilized satellite, is launched by Delta rocket. It is the world's first domestic communications dual-band satellite, operating in both C- and Ku-bands.

Mars 1979 = The chart end of all the experimentation and was at the second month of the Production Prototype which stay open for the different adaptations for his multiples applications

August 1977 to marsh 1979 = 20 month

Businessman Rolf Hougen, in March 1979, as describe in Cancom history on page 139 (page 10 on the roller) he flew to Ottawa to present what he called his Down to Earth proposal. Signals sent to a geostationary satellite from uplinks across the country would be downlinked to cable television systems,

December  1980 = The chart end of all the experimentation and was at the 21 month of the Production Prototype which had stay open for the different adaptations for his multiples applications
