CEO Biography Jacques Lamarre was named President and Chief
Executive Officer of the
Jacques Lamarre has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Laval University in Quebec City, and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Civil Engineering. He has also attended Harvard University's Executive Development Program. His engineering career began in 1966 with the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa. A year later, he joined Janin Construction Ltd. of Montreal, and in 1968, SNC-Lavalin. Mr. Lamarre is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Conference Board of Canada. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Bank of Canada. He is also a member of the
Canadian Council of Chief Executives, the World Economic Forum, the
British-North American Committee (C.D. Howe Institute), the Engineering
Institute of Canada, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada
and l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. |
